RedTopia

This work attempt to demonstrate through images and sounds, the complex international politic panorama of the times, emphasizing the connections between different speeches, characters and topics. Inside the room you can see a world map that indicated a series of markers, from which speeches given by personalities of global politics were activated. The particularity of RedTopía was that it attempted to transfer the current political debates to an interface where the visitor’s body became another node within this plot. A sensor identified the visitor and entered a series of data points into the system: position coordinates, altitude and latitude, information that was contrasted with the amount of local population and the percentages of Internet connectivity at that point in time.
