Skull

Listening device capable of transducing sound through the cranial bone. The sound source used for this prototype was a complex series of slowly varying sine waves, allowing various modes of oscillation, movement, and texture. This work was exhibited at the Tsonami Sound Art Festival in the city of Valparaíso in 2017 and entitled Óseo - concert for skulls, which was presented as a sound action in public space. This intervention was carried out with 5 beach chairs located in a busy city square, inviting spectators to use the device and take distance from the temporality, rhythm and sound of the environment and immerse themselves in a one-person listening experience during a given time. , enjoying the composition of the generative sine wave internally perceived through the vibrations generated by the device. .
